Greetings pedal fans! SeanPierceJohnson here and welcome to the return of "STOMPBOX SMACK DOWN"...the pedal demo comparison show with a pro wrestling twist. Tonight, the battle of the grizzled veteran and the fresh young buck.
The Ibanez SS10 Session Man is receiving a bit of a renaissance of late. Josh Scott of JHS Pedals calls it one of his favorite Ibanez pedals of all time and you all responded AMAZINGLY to my demo of the Session Man. Then, OUT OF NOWHERE, Keeley Electronics released the DCR Drive-Chorus-Rotary...a pedal who's aesthetics clearly are a play on the Session Man. And even the tones match up well!
BUT...which one of these pedals is the far and away KING OF 80's GUITAR TONE?!?! Let's find out!
