"Old Love" is a song written by Eric Clapton and Robert Cray. Throughout the early 90's, Clapton put on some spectacular live performances of this song, and (in my opinion) those performances featured some of his most dynamic playing of that era.
The solo you'll see in this video is influenced by 4 specific live recordings of that song (just the soloing portions). Some of these are well known recordings, some are fairly obscure, but I chose them for their phrasing, and dynamics. I've tried to capture the nuances, and power of those performances in this solo.
