Paul Hindmarsh demonstrates the Dynamic and Chime amp designs in the Catalyst 100 amplifier. Dynamic is set for a rich and complex crunch tone with layered-gain boost, classic phaser swirl, and Hall reverb; Chime is set for a timeless Brit-inspired tone sans top boost with just a bit of extra grit and some tremolo added at the end. The Catalyst 100 was recorded with Shure SM57 and Aston Stealth microphones, and a pair of Aston Spirit room mics.
