This is the SolidGold FX Formula 69 Fuzz. The Formula 69 is a modern take on the late 60's / early 70's silicon Fuzz Face, but with some clever tweaks to improve tone and useability. SolidGoldFX starts off with hand-selected, precisely matched silicon transistors of lower gain than you'd find in a standard vintage Fuzz Face, making the gain range more useable throughout, and making the Formula 69 very responsive to pick attack and volume knob adjustment. Then they add an external tone switch that lets you switch between two fuzz voices; thick and meaty, or cutting and aggressive. You can use this along with the Formula 69's bias adjustment knob, which drastically alters the pedal's midrange character, letting you further sculpt the Formula 69 to your liking.
