We are super excited to share with you the new American Pro II series from Fender. Today we are joined by Kieran from guitarguitar Glasgow, who is going to give us all the ins and outs of this new release. And, we think you'll agree - they look AWESOME! Who wants a shot?
What is the American Pro II series all about then?
The American Professional II Series takes everything that made the American Pro great and improves it. Fender have kept everything players loved and added upgraded features to enhance tone, playability and style.
The well-loved Deep C neck profile remains, but with softer edges for a more comfortable feel. The neck has a new finish that feels more natural, for hours of friction-free playing. The new sculpted neck heel delivers a more ergonomic experience, allowing you to play confidently in the upper register.
The American Professional II hardware has been upgraded as well - bridges on all guitar models have been redesigned. The new asymmetrical neck plate has been beveled for added comfort. Newly voiced Double Tap humbucking pickups perfectly complement the new V-Mod II single-coils. Push-push pots enable special electronics, including additional pickup combinations, series/parallel operation and Double Tap technology.
