Martyna and Clare from Yamaha give us an exclusive performance using the brand new Yamaha reface keyboards in the Gear4music studio.
Yamaha reface is a series of 4 mobile mini keyboards that are highly portable, each has an intuitive, tactile user interface. Yamaha's new reface range features two synthesizers, a combo organ and an electric stage piano.
The synth range comprises of the reface CS and the reface DX, the CS is based on 70s control series synthesizers with no preset sounds and a range of sliders that control envelope filters, oscillators and effects.
The reface DX synthesizer is a stripped back revival of the synths that shaped the sounds of the 80s.
The reface CP is an electric stage piano that has 6 classic electric piano sounds including, wurlitzer and klavier.
The reface YC is a portable, mini organ with 5 classic sounds and responsive drawbars. All keyboards in the reface range have 37 mini keys, built in speakers and optional battery power and all the output options you would expect to find on full size synths and pianos.
