The Rosette DI Preamp is a powerful tool for acoustic instrument tone-shaping and it’s thoughtful features and inputs & outputs make the Rosette DI perfectly adaptable to any application… from recording, to live performance, direct into a P.A. or powered monitors, and anywhere a small footprint, studio-quality preamp interface can help you get great tone.
This video is a great example of the fullness and natural clarity and detail delivered by the Rosette DI Pre, allowing the instrument’s voice to shine through while providing smooth, yet pinpoint control when and where it’s needed. It’s the preamp that stays out of the way of great Tone from your favorite instrument while providing you intuitive control when you need it.
The video also shows how effective the DI Pre can be with the addition of simple front-end effects like reverb and delay pedals inline with your instrument. Any clean sound application you can think of can be enhanced with the thoughtful features of the Rosette DI.
Recorded with a Martin 000C Nylon-string with a Fishman F1 Analog pickup into a Dunlop MXR Reverb pedal, the Rosette DI Preamp, then, directly into the API 1608 Console from the Rosette DI Pre DIRECT OUTPUT set to POST EQ.
This piece is Prelude, Fugue and Allegro in E-flat major, BWV 998 written by Johann Sebastien Bach, originally written in 1735.
