The Orange AD30HTC is a 30 watt class A amp that features two channels with completely different signal paths. It's basically like having two vintage amps in one. The first channel has a thick, creamy, more classic tube type of voice. It puts out some serious punch when you crank the tone knob. The second channel is tighter and springier with more upper mids and slightly more gain. Each channel has its own set of control knobs: master, treble, middle, bass and gain. It sports four 12AX7 tubes in the preamp, four EL84's in the power amp, and a GZ34 rectifier. This head has 8 and 16 Ohm output options, so it'll work with a lot of different cabs. (See below for specifics.) This amp is one of the gold standards by which class A tube tone is judged. You could easily spend twice as much on an amp and wind up with something that doesn't sound half as good.
