Gibson Guitars is proud to announce our virtual concert series in partnership with Women Who Rock benefiting Magee-Womens Research Institute, featuring this amazing lineup of #WomenWhoRock.

Rita is celebrated for her work as an actress, film producer, and philanthropist. In March of 2019 she received a Star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. With her first love being music, she has four studio albums under her belt including her most recent Halfway to Home. Over the last several years, she has toured the world over performing on such iconic stages as the Grand Ole Opry, The Sydney Opera House and Walt Disney Concert Hall as well as coveted slots at music festivals including Stagecoach and CMA Fest among others.

“As both a breast cancer survivor and a singer/songwriter, this concert series felt like the perfect opportunity to raise awareness for the importance of women’s cancer research through the power of music,” says RITA WILSON. “I’m excited to perform alongside such a diverse and strong group of female artists and partner with Women Who Rock and Magee-Womens Research Institute to hopefully make an impact in the continued fight against breast cancer.”

Through the power of music this October for #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, we can make a difference in the lives of women around the world, by raising funds and awareness for life-saving women's health research at Magee-Womens Research Institute, the nation's largest research institute dedicated solely to women's health. Donations generated from the Gibson Guitars’ Foundation Gibson Gives and Women Who Rock campaign during the month of October benefiting Magee-Womens Research Institute will be matched by UPMC and UPMC Health Plan up to $25,000.
