Here is my review of the 64 Audio ADEL in ear monitors.
when I first got my A12s. I was naturally excited. but of course skeptical that an in ear monitors could beat the ears I had already been using.
I took the ears out and put them in. Immediately, i was pleased at how good they felt. There was not pinching, nor did I was I wondering if they were in deep enough and sealed tight. They felt very natural.
I plugged them in to my interface and turned on the Daft Punk’s song “Get Lucky”. I wanted to hear a big radio song that had killer ‘real’ bass.
The sound I heard was like nothing I have ever experienced. The bass stuck out instantly. I could hear nuances and tonality in the bass that I had never came close to noticing, listening with other ears or thru speakers.
little things on the track sounded and ‘felt’ big.
The A12s have 12 drivers. 4 high, 4 mid and 4 low. I finally understand why more drivers mean more sound.
My show with the A12s was the best live sound experience I have had up to that point. I had to bring the bassists level way down from where I usually keep it.
I could hear a pronounced tone in the kick drum. My guitar tone actually sounded like my guitar, something I have never had with in ears.
Playing live , if I can’t hear the other players, i can’t connect with them, i can’t gel with them and I play a lot more ‘safe’ so i don’t walk all over what they’re doing.
I am so thrilled with the 64 Audio ADELs. They changed the way I gig, record and mix. They are with me at all gigs and sessions from here on out.
