Shown here in Transparent Blue the instrument's spalted maple top contrasts nicely with the roasted maple neck. Listen closely to all of the nuances the piezo pickup captures. Then the Rockfield single coil pickups with a slight distortion can add a nice bite to blues, rock and jazz single note passages.
