Effects powerhouse Mooer initially carved out a niche as an agile producer of small, budget clones of famous circuits and nano-sized pedals, before pushing its offerings upmarket through multi-FX units (and, most recently, a new generation of smart guitars) all the while maintaining fiercely competitive pricing.
Now, the company has its sights set on the increasingly competitive audio interface market with STEEP I and II, a pair of units supporting high-res audio up to 24bit/192 kHz.
STEEP I offers a single XLR/Jack combi input and a 1/4" input while STEEP II features a pair of XLR/Jack combi inputs and MIDI in and out functionality. Both units can be run off USB bus power or an external USB-C power supply (For when using with iOS devices on the go).
Both the STEEP I and II feature a mix control that allows for direct monitoring as well as a headphone out and 2 1/4" outputs for connecting studio monitors.
