Now, this one is an interesting one - an old gold-top conversion to humbucker-style Les Paul, originating in 1955 with numerous changes made throughout the years. Starting off, the original gold finish has been removed entirely, leaving the three-piece top visible. The original P90s have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups, obviously the bridge and tailpiece setup has been changed to an ABR-1 setup. The tuners have been replaced with a set of Grover tuners, and the guitar has been refretted as well. All of this done on a nicely aged body, and this instrument both plays great and sounds excellent! Jay hands the guitar off to James for a demo through a brand new Carr Skylark amplifier.
We'll have both the guitar and amp up on our website as soon as possible, as they both came in over the weekend!
