Source Audio engineer Grady Thomas talks about the Ladder Filter in the Artifakt Lo-Fi Elements and how it can be used with bass. Originally created in 1969 by Robert Moog of Moog Synthesizer, the Ladder Filter's unique 4-pole low-pass architecture gives it an intense sweep with a steep cut-off that can be heard all over 70s progressive rock, funk music, modern electronic dance, and more. It sounds great on the bass guitar with either envelope, LFO or expression control.
