In this video I test how much adding or subtracting carpet in a room changes your sound. The only thing changing was the carpet all settings on the amp, guitar and mic inputs were exactly the same.

Equipment Used: Gibson ES-335, Marshall SL5, Sennheiser E609, AEA Nuvo Ribbon Mic, Carpet, and/or Concrete flooring. :)

Please make sure to always treat your room acoustically, adding carpet is not the end solution to a good sounding room. It is one way to create a unique room's sound.
