Royer R121 on vocals with Anthony Aparo of Culture Culture

The R121 is mostly known for being the industry standard ribbon mic for electric guitars, brass and string instruments. It's not as often considered a standard vocal mic as an engineer's go to condenser vocal microphone.


However, in this clip. you can hear how the r121 sounds in a mixed acoustic track and then solo'd out with very little eq.
