Scott Sill demonstrates the Taylor Guitars, T3/B, their semi-hollow electric guitar. This guitar has a curly maple top, sapelle back and sides, and ebony fretboard and headstock. It also comes equipped with 2 Taylor Made HD humbucking pickups with coil taps and a Bigsby.
Scott goes through all the different pickup configurations show you the difference in sound you get going from neck to the bridge along with splitting the coils. Lastly Scott demonstrates the tone knob and the wide variety of tones you can get from it. It even has a push pull on it which allows you get additional tonal variety, even a half cocked wah wah sound.
Scott plays the Taylor T3/B through an Ibanez Tubescreamer TS-808hw, MXR Carbon Copy, and a Fender '57 Custom Twin. Scott uses the Sennheiser E609 Silver to mic the amp and this is fed into a Zoom H4n.
