Every year, during the first weekend of October, some of the best and brightest builders of boutique Amplifiers and Effects converge on Van Nuys, CA for the L.A. Amp Show.
The concept is simple: a place for REAL players and REAL people to play REAL gear in REAL life and REAL volumes! A good time is had by all every year.
In this episode, we visit Mitch Colby and check out his resurrection of Park Amps. A much loved, and often overlooked brand Mitch plugs us into the Park 45. Using all NOS (new-old-stock) parts, this is a 45 watt British-flavored amp that is all about what you put into it. Just by using your guitar you get a wealth of sounds.
