Basically an upgraded version of G&L's infamous Rampage model, Jerry Cantrell's G&L Superhawk signature model features a soft maple body with an ivory finish. The neck is G&L's extra wide super slim C shape, which is very fast and very comfortable. It's not quite as thin as the name suggests - it's quick, but not non-existent. The 1 3/4" nut width is just a tad wider than G&L's usual 1 5/8". The ebony fretboard has 22 medium jumbo frets and a 14" radius. For pickups, this axe is really decked out. It has a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck and a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. These pickups are hot, focused and incredibly musical. The saddle-lock bridge makes string changing incredibly easy, and it also transfers string vibrations into the body more efficiently than other designs. Other great features include 12:1 ratio sealed back tuners and a 3-position pickup selector switch. This is the perfect American-made hard rock guitar, and the price tag is around half of where it could be. A great design from G&L.
