The Diamond J-Drive MK3 is a killer combination of overdrive and clean boost pedals. Using Burr-Brown op-amps and Vishay transistors, the JDrive MKIII provides a super hi-fi, transparent pedal that keeps your tone pure. The controls are super interactive and usable. The Warmth knob is a low pass filter that also increases gain as the cutoff frequency is lowered, providing some very interesting characteristic tones and harmonics. The J-Drive Mk3's overdrive is smooth and creamy with clear, well-defined midrange, tight low end, and crystalline highs. The Diamond J-Drive MK3 is extremely responsive to picking dynamics and volume roll-off. The Boost side provides -6db to 13db of clean boost to your signal. The boost is set before the overdrive so you can add a little more drive to your drive (te-he) or you can use it independently to boost the front end of your amp. It also functions as a treble booster! The Diamond Jdrive features true-bypass switching and a bright switch as well for toning up your humbuckers or twanging out your Tele. This is the most useful overdrive pedal we've played and it is IMPOSSIBLE to make it sound bad. Once you go J-Drive, you don't go back.
