Welcome back to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com, where we're unveiling the Khrosis from Porter Guitars. The Khrosis is Porter's flagship guitar, and is the last word for guitarists who can never decide what guitar to use. The Khrosis blows the doors off the boundaries of standard guitars by offering a series of swappable pickguards loaded with Porter's pickups and electronic configurations, giving you access to a stable full of guitars at your fingertips. The guitar itself is a primo build throughout, featuring an alder body, maple neck with a 25.5-inch scale length, 12-inch fretboard radius and Hipshot hardware. Just about any body color you would want is available, with a variety of pickguards as well. Players wanting to try a different pickup configuration can swap the loaded pickguard out for any of Porter's others in just five minutes, completely changing the guitar's profile. This is accomplished with Porter's Quickplug system, which requires no soldering, and is swappable without removing the strings, just by untwisting and unplugging the Quickplug connector. The Khrosis pickguard lineup contains seven different base models, featuring everything from P-90s and Humbuckers to Mini Humbuckers and Wide Range pickups. Within each of these standard configurations, there are several different pickup models to choose from, giving you a highly-customizable guitar experience with near-endless possibilities. And just like all Porter products, the Khrosis and its loaded pickguards are each made one at a time in Boise, Idaho.
