Buffalo FX TD-X

The TD-X is a faithful reproduction of a vintage tube-equipped overdrive and boost unit that's been put to good use by some guys named Gilmour and Johnson. While the older units relied on a single to get the job done, this also made the less reliable and in need of an internal transformer to keep the plate heated. The Buffalo TD-X does away with this and instead opts with a FET in place of the tube for an extremely similar tone. In addition to the FET, an expertly curated set of components keeps the tone sweet across all knob settings, doing this classic circuit total justice. The original circuit is regarded as an extremely amp-like boost and overdrive unit, and the TD-X is no different. Between a juicy two-band EQ circuit and a gain control in addition to a master volume, players will have an easy time integrating the TD-X into their rigs. The TD-X also excels at stacking; feed it into another dirt pedal to cut through the sound like a scalpel or place it after to inject the tone with some tube-like goodness. Like all Buffalo FX pedals, the TD-X is 100 percent handmade in southwest France.
