This G&L Legacy Deluxe is a hotter version on G&L's time-tested Legacy design. You need to check out the top on this one: It's a nice cut of 5A master grade flame maple. The hard rock maple neck is G&L's classic 'C' shape, so it's beefy, round and extremely comfortable. The fretboard is rosewood with dot inlays. Electronically, this guitar combines the best of both worlds. There's a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge position, a G&L CLF-100 Alnico reverse-wound single coil in the middle, and another CFL-100 in the neck. Translation: This guitar is ready for any sound you throw at it. And since the push/pull knob coil splits the bridge pickup, you don't have to sacrifice that classic bridge-pickup twang to get the benefits of the humbucker. This guitar will work for just about anything - blues, country, rock, fusion, pop. It's very much the type of instrument you want with you on stage. You'll have a tough time finding another American-made guitar loaded up with such great features at this price.
