Chopin is my favorite classical music composer, and this piece is one of the reasons why. Chopin balances the dark and explosive manner of the block chords with warm and angelic melodies in the lyrical part, creating a sense of harmony from the diversity of parts of the piece. It's like life: it can hit you hard, but sometimes you get this feeling of warmth from your surroundings, whether it's your parents, your spouse or even just plain hope. (Even though it might just be false hope and you might plummet into total despair. Just kidding! XD ) Anyways, I hope you enjoy the piece!
