This year, Anders Osborne joined forces with the North Mississippi Allstars for a terrific album (Freedom & Dreams) and tour, billed as N.M.O. AG was fortunate enough to sit down with Osborne and Luther Dickinson for a wide-ranging interview and powerful three-song performance. We discuss the roots of the collaboration, the influence of Luther's legendary father, Jim, and a number of other interesting topics. The duo performs two songs from Freedom & Dreams, including a gorgeous 10-minute jam on "Dyin' Days," and Dickinson also delivers a solo fingerpicking showpiece.
