This unique "Tiger-Burst" Telecaster was specially built by master luthier John English at the Fender Custom Shop in February 1995. This highly unusual guitar weighs just 7.70 lbs. and has a huge nut width of 1 3/4 inches, a really fat neck profile, and a scale length of 25 1/2 inches. Solid ash body with a quarter inch layer of book-matched highly figured "Tiger-Burst" maple on the top and back. Highly figured Birds-Eye maple neck with triple-bound slab ebony fretboard with 21 medium frets and inlaid abalone shell block position markers. Two Fender Texas Special pickups with amazing outputs of 8.72k and 9.60k. All hardware gold-plated. Mint in the original Fender hardshell case.
