This is the SolidGoldFX Surf Rider III, a new, improved version of SolidGold's beloved Surf Rider reverb pedal. With it's extensive, yet easy to use, control set, the Surf Rider III can conjure up a diverse range of ambient sounds, from vintage, surfy amp reverbs, to gated reverbs and warm, natural room tones. You can use the Decay knob and 3-way Resonance switch to dial in the size and length of the ambience, while Depth and Level controls allow for fine-tuning of overall intensity. The Tone knob can take the verb from bright and springy, to dark and washy, or anywhere in between. The Surf Rider III also features expression pedal control, allowing the user to morph from a completely dry tone to full-on surf drip, and a dedicated boost footswitch for switching between low and high reverb levels. The SolidGoldFX Surf Rider III operates on 9V DC power and is made by hand in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
