One of Epiphone’s most popular models, this enduring classic is a no-nonsense take on the fabled Gibson ES-335. To give you an idea of why these guitars are so special, we'll start by breaking down the sound. Sporting a set of Twin Alnicos, the Dot gives off a warm, rich tone that's perfect for cutting right through a band with expressive lead playing. With a big bluesy, jazz vibe, the Dot may surprise you when ramped up with a bit of gain. In a Cinderalla-esque fashion, these guitars transform from a subtle wallflower to a snarling rock 'n' roll machine. With a 335 styled body shape, you can comfortably access the Dot's high frets and its medium-sized frets feel really natural to play. Quality Grover tuners top off these timeless beauties and add to the overall reliability of the instruments. Construction, as with its Gibson relative, is laminated maple with a solid centre block along with a set neck and stop-bar tailpiece: exactly as it should be!
