Jamie Wolfert employs the 76 Octave Fuzz to great effect on a full range of instruments in this hard grooving stoner psych outing. Bass, baritone and guitar are all graced with its grind, and its signature upper octave sizzle is manipulated to push the Counter Current Reverb into haunting musical feedback. The versatility of the 76 really comes to the fore in this context, adding weight and texture to bass (along with a guest appearance from the Apollo II Phaser), punch and sting to guitar, and pure aggro snarl to baritone. This pedal's ability to glue a mix together with its many shades of vintage inspired fuzz is unparalleled.
