UralTone Rouhi Germanium is second co-operation pedal between J.Paasonen and Uraltone Oy.
Rouhi Ge is based on traditional 60´s fuzz circuits, but is still quite unique in two ways: It uses super quality Siemens AC151 audio frequency germanium transistors and it has nature knob. This innovative knob chances nature, amount and quality of distortion in very useful way. Rouhi Ge will match perfectly with old school single coil and medium output Humbucking pickups.
Sound wise goal in this project was to create fuzz that cleans perfectly with guitars volume knob without losing too much signal level or dynamics. This pedal really works with guitars volume knob: it goes from crispy clean to wild fuzz sounds via nice overdrive tones. This can only be achieved with careful gain selecting and matching transistors in the hard way. Afterwards each pedal is measured through, biased and tested by ear with good instruments.

- Two transistor design with Siemens AC151 low noise AF transistors.
-Super Mojo Mullard Mustard signal cap and other period correct components.
- 9 volt battery or suitable power supply operation. ( Be careful with polarity. PNP transistors with positive ground ).
