From Brett Kingman:
The Hot Saké begins where an 808 finishes and lurches into Muff territory from therein. It will do boost, it will do smooth overdrive, crunchy overdrive, big bottom overdrive, distortion... right up to huge butt big muff type tones. It's very versatile! A tone, mids, low boost and low boost freq shift, along with the usual gain and level controls are all you need to have a good night with some Hot Saké™. This is a pedal that may have flown under the radar for some but I suggest you dip into the exotic and check it out. It's worth a taste or two.
