The role of a bassist is one of the most underrated roles in a band. They play one of two key roles, alongside with the drummer, to provide the beat and groove for the band to get through the entire song.
Almost everyone you know plays the guitar or the keyboard but how about the bass guitar? You know, that deep thumping rhythm that flows through the song like a thread that holds the various fabrics together?
