The J. Doe from PureSalem guitars is a fresh take on a super rare offset, loaded with a unique feature set and distinct voice. The mahogany body and headstock both get the German carve treatment, with careful sculpting around all the graceful points and curves. The finish here is Burgundy Mist, which catches the light with a light sparkle and is complimented with chrome hardware and a tortoise pickguard. Making a fresh appearance on this PureSalem guitar is the Les Trem by Duesenberg, a simply elegant design with touch sensitive action that always comes back to pitch, thanks to accompanying roller bridge saddles.. Moving up the fretboard, which is made of ebony, are 22 med jumbo frets set to a 24 3/4” scale and the graphite nut and PureSalem pin locking tuners cap it off while keeping this J. Doe in tune. The attitude of this guitar is also matched with a warm yet punchy set of single coils and a 3 way switch plus master volume and tone.
