so we like to make videos and we like to play guitars and we like to mess with pedals. when philippe over at Caroline Guitar Co. sent over his new Wave Cannon Mkii Super Distorter we wanted to make a video of it. which might seem strange for a pedal company to make a demo of a different pedal company's pedal. not really to us. it makes sense. i love both what Philippe does with Caroline and what he does as a person. i've always used different manufacturers pedals in my setup. because people have great ideas and execute them well. and i like that.
so. here is how i would use the Wave Cannon MKii Super Distorter. i'd plug it into a slightly overdriven amp, in this case my old Marshall JMP, and let the WC2 do the heavy lifting from there. and it did. it handled everything we threw at it: humbuckers, JM P90-ish, baritone. everything you need to make a guitar heavy song is in this pedal. it has controlled feedback options. which i like. noise. give me that noise. and thank you. then we started running it through the Caroline Guitar Co. Kilobyte delay to fill out some different sounds. its the spectrum. you can plug and play with these two pedals and have a highly successful musical demonstration. talent is always optional, but you should probably check out the pedals. im glad we did.
