Demo of the Anasounds Savage.

My take:
The Anasounds Savage is an overdrive pedal inspired by the legendary Klon Centaur. But instead of a straightforward "Klone" type pedal, Anasounds have taken the original idea and expanded its usefulness. Right out of the box, it probably has a bit more gain available, as well as a more open top. I also found the midrange character to be a little different – it's a little "sweeter". The Savage has a bump around 1.8 - 2.2khz, while the original Klon (and its many counterparts) are closer to around 1.3khz. This slightly higher midrange yields a bit more buttery midrange that I prefer over other Klon-type pedals. Inside the pedal, you can adjust dip switches and pots that change bass and treble response as well as gain range. This pedal earned a spot on my board after doing this video... I just fell in love with the pushed, aggressive, yet very SWEET midrange quality. Definitely recommended!
