Jared swung in by our Glasgow store and chatted about his influences and had a mini guitar battle with a customer in the shop. An amazing energy to have come visit us and a hell of a player.
Jared James Nichols is an American blues-rock guitarist and singer from the state of Wisconsin. He is best known for his high-energy performances and 'pick-less' electric guitar playing technique. He is rarely seen without playing his 'signature' single-pickup Les Paul Custom nick-named Old Glory. He fronts a "power-trio" under his name, rooted in the early 1970s hard-rock vein of Cream and Mountain. He resides in Los Angeles, California.
