Hey Everybody! Here’s a straightforward way to use an SA Super Duper. This short video demo showcases how an SA Super Duper can be used to achieve 4 different stages of gain. This kind of dynamic gain staging is most effective with an amp that has clean head room. We used a Marshall 100 watt head with the volume at about 2, and a Les Paul Standard.
Bypass mode is your start point, then we turn on channel 1 by itself. Then we hit both switches at once to turn off channel 1and turn on channel 2 simultaneously. Then we hit channel 1 by itself to get both channels 1 and 2 on at the same time. Finally we again hit both switches together at the same time to get back to bypass.
