If you are looking for those beautifully full bodied Fender Tweed cleans or that low midrange growl of a roaring 4x10 tweed amp…Look no further! This is the classic circuit that started it all! It was even the inspiration behind Jim Marshall building the first JTM45! The 4x10 cabinet keeps the lows tight even with a plethora of low mid range giving these profiles their characteristic harmonically rich girth. Crank it up and hear the grind and grit that has made this amp circuit famous with players like SRV, Pearl Jam, and countless other acts seeking the classic tweed sound. Back if off and you will hear something like Blackface cleans but much more punchy and bold!
The bright channel still has body but lifts the high end presence to liven up humbuckers or really cut the mix with a Strat or Tele. The Normal channel has all the growl in the world, if you want roots drive or classic rock try this channel out. And of course, we have Jumped the inputs and profiles both channels together! This gives a sound that is plenty bright and present but with a a full low end and low mids that make the Tweed sound so magical. Plus we threw in a couple drives. If you aren’t familiar with the classic and super versatile tones of a Tweed Lowman be prepared to make some room on the favorites list!
