It was a Monday morning, chilly, garage door open, and the caffeine had yet to engage our minds. Jake McMullen and his band stopped by for a quick taping for Songs at the Shop on their way to SxSW. Playing their song "Always", they bring a sound of melancholy hope with long tail delays, ambient lap steel, and attentive drumming.
