This is my Father In Law's 1957 S.S. Stewart Archtop guitar. He bought it in 1960, used, for $40 CAD. An additional $10 for the hardcase;-) It was used when he bought it and he added the pickgaurd which is not original to the guitar. It's had a neck reset and all new frets installed a few years ago. Responded well to a setup and new Flatwound strings, which I'm convinced are louder.
