Patrick Park grew up in Morrison, Colorado and was exposed to the arts from his mother who was a published poet and his father who was an avid collector of folk and blues records.

Park began writing songs in middle school and would go on to sign a record deal with Hollywood Records in 2003. His debut album was recorded by producer Dave Trumfio (Wilco, Earlimart) and he has gone on to release over 10 albums throughout his career.

In this episode of The Songbook, Patrick stopped by to perform the song "Five Alarm" from his latest album "Here/Gone."
