This stunning Les Paul is straight from the artisans at Gibson’s Custom Shop in Nashville and is part of an exclusive and very limited run!

We hand-picked each of the fantastic Quilted Maple tops for this run during a trip to the CustomShop in Nashville. These were picked for their three-dimensional beauty and used as tops on 16 of the most stunning Les Paul Customs we’ve ever had in out stores. This model, finished in Firemist is one of them.

This Les Paul Custom is a sterling example of the very best that Gibson’s Custom Shop has to offer. A thick Ebony fingerboard, solid Mahogany body body and Mother of Pearl block inlays mark this out as a Les Paul Custom built in the old way, as they should be.

Gibson Custom Shop have used 498T & 490R humbuckers in this Les Paul. This set is often chosen for Customs since the slightly hotter, toppier output they give complements the famously thick, cello-like timbre of the guitar. This Les Paul sings and sustains for days, providing an extremely easy playing experience with its 12” radius Ebony board housing 22 Medium Jumbo frets.

Other high quality appointments include a Switchcraft toggle switch and a pair of CTS pots, both 500k units to get the most out of the output and top end.

This truly is a stunning instrument: one of Gibsons’ best loved and most glamorous guitars, made to an extremely high level of quality and sporting an absurdly attractive top. We love it!
