Today we're freaking out with the Dwarfcraft Devices Hax, a fuzzy ring modulator with a variety of damaged tonal possibilities for the adventurous guitarist. With an expression pedal input to control the pitch of the modulated signal and a very wide oscillator range, the Dwarfcraft Hax can generate demon squeals, grinding robotic flatulence, and glitchy dissonance. A hi/low footswitch lets you change the frequency range on the fly, and the blend knob lets you mix just the right amount of Hax in with your dry signal. The Crash knob's power starving function dials in chaos to taste, letting you choose between relatively restrained sonic ugliness and total earhole annihilation. The Dwarfcraft Hax is made by hand in a basement in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and uses mysterious components.
