When I was interviewing Brian of Wampler Pedals, for ThatsMyGig.com, I got the chance to test drive an Ace Thirty prototype and a Velvet Fuzz. They were both bad ass, as demonstrated by my expletives. I was using some kind of custom semi-hollow tele that Brian owns, and a Fargen quarter stack that was pretty Marshally. The mic was just an iPhone, hence the slight compression. But, the fuzz actually compresses beautifully.
