In this part we BreakDown the really cool sequence Lick. As we discussed ... this is a great example of how Shane masterfully plays a fast sequence to get from one part of the neck to the another. However, while most guys might take the simple way out and just play repetitive patterns the entire time ... Shane takes the listener on a journey by throwing in some little twists and turns.

We break down this Lick note for note and point out some of the unique moments that make this sound so slick. We also talk a bit about exploring alternate fingerings and how this can make Licks like this a lot easier to play for some of us depending on your strengths and weaknesses (alternate picking, legato, hybrid picking).

Then we continue to BreakDown this awesome solo ... talking about some chromatic ideas ... different ways of rhythmically offsetting phrases ... some Pentatonic Licks ... as well as quick mixing Arpeggios with Pentatonic phrases.

This part of this Guitar Lesson has a whole bunch of great concepts and ideas that you can really explore with.
