In this clip we compare the three combos and two heads of the Marshall Origin series. The amps are: Origin 5, Origin 20H, Origin 20C, Origin 50H and Origin 50C. We’re playing the heads with vintage speaker cabinets. We’re using three guitars (and players ;-)) 1957 Gibson Les Paul Jr, 2008 Gibson Les Paul R9 and early 2000s Gibson Flying V. The cabs are: 1971 Marshall 4x12 1960A (2xStock T1221 close miked and 2X Altec Lansing) and 1971 Marshall 4x15 1979B. Close mic Unidyne 548, Room Mic AKG C414. All knobs on the amps are set to 5 (including gain) but volume which is cranked. Boosts are activated where present.
