The owner attempted to refinish the guitar and discovered it's not as easy as people make it seem to be on YouTube;-) I stripped and completely refinished it for less than $20 CAD. I used a stain, we simply asked a custom colour of, available at any home improvement store. Then I used Tru-Oil as a top coat. I applied 6 heavy coats, sanded lightly with 0000 Steel Wool inbetween each coat and ened up with a nice smooth gloosy finish. It looks like marble up close. You can try any colour combo or shinyness you like. The process is the same:-)
