Both these guitars have Gibson 57 Classics. That's why they make a good comparison.

I'm hoping to do a detailed set of comparisons of a Standard SG as you'd normally expected to find it VS the infamous 2015 model. I personally love my 2015 but a standard SG from any other year is a guitar I also like a lot. They are subtly different. I hope to share every way in which the 2015 models are actually different. I'm working on this 2013 model which gives me an opportunity to compare them. This is the first of a few comparison tests where I let you decided.
