The cult classic returns to wreak havoc upon the weak. The BOSS Heavy Metal pedal has been reborn in a flashy new Waza Craft, made in Japan version. The thing is, I was expecting not to like this pedal at all. From my fuzzy teenage memories, I was sure that it sucked. But as soon as I started playing with it, I realised that it wasn't the pedal that sucked back in the day. It was me! It makes perfect sense now.
I had so much fun trying out this pedal, and it stood out to me as having a much more interesting pool of tones than most Distortion/Overdrives have to offer these days.
