METRON is an ultra powerful trigger and gate sequencer with very robust featurs like bursts, gates, and the ability to dive into microtiming. However, the microtiming feature is limited to 6 triggers per step. This is great for 4 on the floor dance music but what about slower tempos and creating more glitchy sounds with mega fast triggers?
In this video, Alex goes into using the sequencer to acheive just that by using faster tempos and working in half time. This allows you to keep the same slow feel but get some super fast bursts to work with. Eurorack systems are a super versatile instrument and can be played in many ways. Whether or not you are using a METRON, we hope that this video can hope spark some ideas with whatever gear you are using to achieve your musical goals.
